Kid in Story Book Maker’s automatic image detection did not correctly find the child in my photo. What do I do?

Kid in Story automatically tries to detect which part of your picture is the child and what is background.

For the best automatic result, take the child’s picture in front of a solid-colored wall that does not match their hair, skin, or clothing color.

Or, you can use the editing tools to correct confused areas by hand. Choose “Mark Kid” or “Mark Background” to show Kid in Story Book Maker where it has made mistakes. Depending on the image you may have to go back and forth a few times to get it just right.

When I try to use a photo from my library I get an error message.

Check that you have authorized Kid in Story Book Maker to access your photos. From your iPad home screen, open Settings. On the left hand side, choose Privacy, then select Photos. To allow Kid in Story Book Maker to use your photos, turn photo access on here.
